Day by day
8 days, with a minimum of three points planned for each.
Day 1Arrival in Istanbul
- Airport meet-and-assist and transfer to the hotel, followed by room allocation and time to recover from travel.
- Tour orientation covers local transport, safeguarding, emergency communication and cultural expectations.
- Evening introduction to the Bosphorus / central Istanbul with a light group walk and welcome meal.
Day 2Historic Istanbul
- Explore Sultanahmet with the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome and the historic setting around Hagia Sophia, subject to access rules.
- Visit Topkapı Palace or a comparable heritage site to connect Ottoman history, administration and material culture.
- Finish with Grand Bazaar / Spice Bazaar exploration and a guided discussion on traditional commerce and tourism.
Day 3Bosphorus & contemporary city
- Take a Bosphorus cruise or waterfront learning route to understand how Istanbul connects Europe and Asia.
- Explore Karaköy / Galataport and modern public spaces, comparing contemporary regeneration with older urban districts.
- Use the evening for Turkish food culture and a structured reflection activity.
Day 4Education, enterprise & innovation
- Schedule a university, startup, business or innovation visit when a host is confirmed for the departure.
- Add Istanbul Modern, a design / technology venue or another current learning stop aligned to the group profile.
- Participants complete a short field challenge connecting what they observed to entrepreneurship, design or international education.
Day 5Istanbul → Cappadocia
- Travel to Cappadocia by confirmed domestic flight / ground plan and transfer to the hotel.
- Begin with a landscape orientation explaining the region’s geology, settlement pattern and tourism economy.
- Use sunset time at a panoramic viewpoint, followed by a quiet evening and briefing for the next day.
Day 6Cappadocia heritage
- Explore Göreme Open-Air Museum or a comparable heritage site with a local guide.
- Visit Avanos or a pottery / craft community to connect traditional skills with present-day visitor economy.
- Optional hot-air-balloon activity may be offered separately and remains weather, operator and safety dependent.
Day 7Underground city & community
- Visit an underground city or valley route to examine adaptation, architecture and historical survival strategies.
- Include a local food, craft or community experience with responsible visitor guidelines.
- Return toward Istanbul or prepare for the final departure sequence according to the confirmed flight plan.
Day 8Departure
- Complete check-out, luggage checks and final program debrief with the Tour Director.
- Transfer to the departure airport according to the issued travel schedule.
- Participants receive follow-up instructions for feedback, media sharing and any completion documentation.
